Everyone have a soft spot for this maknae, if he cries, fans would lap it up too. Are you saying the script writers are so lousy? The ultimate answer is: What we saw in that performance were the boys' real emotions. They were crying because they had a hard time in Japan. Everything was from zero when they stepped into Japan.
They were young, families were far away, language is foreign, they had no support. And finally to perform in Budokan, the Budokan that is filled up with their fans who loves them and support them so much. All the memories and emotions going through their mind, that's why they cried.

Not to forget, in South Korea, every male needs to get enlisted for military service, and that takes 2 years of their time away.
No one knows how long the lawsuit will take. I mean, look at it now, more than 2 years and still counting. How long do you expect them to wait. Music is their career. And these boys probably have families to support, they really can't afford to just sit around. Are you expecting them to go sell bread or work in a convenience store or something like that to bring in income for the family?
And, idol groups are mushrooming out by the minute. Ok, maybe by the minute is exaggerated, but the point is new groups are marketed all the time, if the boys do not catch up, they will be replaced. So, what do I think?
