Meanwhile, the National Crime Agency is focusing on stopping drugs getting into the country in the first place. Recently the NCA has charged six men with importing 2. Other seizures include 5. NCA Director of Investigations Nikki Holland said: "It is a high priority for the NCA to build on the successes we have had in source countries and along the drugs supply routes, so that organised crime groups land fewer drugs in our towns and cities and prevent them being pushed further afield through county lines groups.

December 17, In reality, the opposite has occurred. There is significant overlap between drug sellers and people who use drugs. Laws against drug selling are so broadly written that it is easy for people caught with drugs for personal use to get charged as dealers, even if they were not involved in selling at all.

The harsh criminalization of supply-side drug market activity may actually be making drug use more dangerous, increasing overdose deaths and leading to more violence in communities. While the criminal legal system purports to focus on high-level sellers, the data show that supply-side criminalization disproportionately impacts the lowest-level people on the supply chain. The current system has a discriminatory impact on communities of color, despite the fact that white people are slightly more likely than either Black or Latinx people to report having sold drugs.

Through the use of this method, in the exported schema, the access modifier can be generated as private. This method maps the Type of the surrogate to the original type. This method is optional for schema importation. When creating a surrogate that imports a schema and generates code for it, the next task is to define the type of a surrogate instance to its original type. If the generated code needs to reference an existing user type, this is done by implementing the GetReferencedTypeOnImport method.

When importing a schema, this method is called for every type declaration to map the surrogated data contract to a type. The string parameters typeName and typeNamespace define the name and namespace of the surrogated type.

The return value for GetReferencedTypeOnImport is used to determine whether a new type needs to be generated. This method must return either a valid type or null.

For valid types, the type returned will be used as a referenced type in the generated code. If null is returned, no type will be referenced and a new type must be created. If several surrogates exist, it is possible to perform the mapping for each surrogate type back to its initial type.

The ProcessImportedType method customizes any type created from schema importation. This method is optional. When importing a schema, this method allows for any imported type and compilation information to be customized.

During import, this method is called for every type generated. This includes changing the name, members, attributes, and many other properties of the CodeTypeDeclaration. By processing the CodeCompileUnit , it is possible to modify the directives, namespaces, referenced assemblies, and several other aspects.

The CodeCompileUnit parameter allows for modification for processing the code. Returning null results in the type declaration being discarded. Conversely, when returning a CodeTypeDeclaration , the modifications are preserved. If custom data is inserted during metadata export, it needs to be provided to the user during import so that it can be used. This custom data can be used for programming model hints, or other comments. The example above performs some changes on the schema imported.

The code preserves private members of the original type by using a surrogate. The default access modifier when importing a schema is public. Therefore, all members of the surrogate schema will be public unless modified, as in this example.

During export, custom data is inserted into the metadata about which members are private. The example looks up the custom data, checks whether the access modifier is private, and then modifies the appropriate member to be private by setting its attributes. Without this customization, the numpens member would be defined as public instead of private.

This method obtains custom data types defined from the schema. The method is optional for schema importation. The method is called at the beginning of schema export and import. The method returns the custom data types used in the schema exported or imported. The method should add additional known types to this collection. The known custom data types are needed to enable serialization and deserialization of custom data using the DataContractSerializer.

For more information, see Data Contract Known Types. Use the DataContractSerializer to perform serialization and deserialization of data with the surrogate.

The surrogate must also be specified. Create an instance of the ServiceHost for your service. For every ServiceEndpoint of the specified service host, find its OperationDescription. Search through the operation behaviors to determine if an instance of the DataContractSerializerOperationBehavior is found.

If no DataContractSerializerOperationBehavior is found, then create a new instance and set the DataContractSurrogate member of the new behavior to a new instance of the surrogate. Finally, add this new behavior to the current operation behaviors, as shown in the following example:.

To do this, directly modify the WsdlImporter used to import metadata. Import the metadata using the WsdlImporter class.

Otherwise, use the importer returned by the out parameter of the TryGetValue method. Use the ImportAllContracts method of the WsdlImporter to import all of the data contracts within the schema. During the last step, code is generated from the schemas loaded by calling into the surrogate. The surrogate needs to be added to the component responsible for generating XSD schema for data contract types, XsdDataContractExporter. To do this, either use a behavior that implements IWsdlExportExtension to modify the WsdlExporter , or directly modify the WsdlExporter used to export metadata.

Otherwise, use the exporter returned by the out parameter of the TryGetValue method. The following example shows a service contract an interface to which the ServiceContractAttribute and OperationContractAttribute attributes have been explicitly applied.

The example shows that primitive types do not require a data contract, while a complex type does. The following example shows how a data contract for the MyTypes. The IgnoreDataMemberAttribute attribute is only honored when used with unmarked types.

You can apply the DataMemberAttribute attribute to fields, and properties. Member accessibility levels internal, private, protected, or public do not affect the data contract in any way. The DataMemberAttribute attribute is ignored if it is applied to static members. During serialization, property-get code is called for property data members to get the value of the properties to be serialized. During deserialization, an uninitialized object is first created, without calling any constructors on the type.

Then all data members are deserialized. During deserialization, property-set code is called for property data members to set the properties to the value being deserialized. For a data contract to be valid, it must be possible to serialize all of its data members. Generic types are handled in exactly the same way as non-generic types.

For instance, if your employer offers a 5-percent match, it means they will contribute the same amount to your account that you do, up to 5 percent of your salary. You may be able to contribute more, but only the first 5 percent will be matched.

In other words, your employer is offering you extra money. Think of it as additional salary. Or a bonus. To withdraw the money means you also miss out on the advantage of time and its effect on compound interest.

Saving early and increasing your contributions as you go can help set yourself up for a secure retirement. This is a hypothetical example for illustrative purposes only. There's an easy answer and a hard answer to the question of how much to contribute to a k. First things first, the easy answer: Contribute at least enough to earn all of the matching dollars that your employer offers.

Whether that match is small or large, it amounts to free money. Our k calculator can help you see how much your contributions would add up to in retirement. Your pre-tax contributions are then tax-deferred until you choose to withdraw them in retirement. You can contribute as much or as little as you want to your account subject to plan and IRS limits. Plus, you have the flexibility to change your contribution levels at any time subject to plan limits dependent on your situation.

The earlier you start investing, the more time your money has to grow. One of the biggest advantages of investing in a k early is compound interest. Compound interest is when you earn interest on the principal amount of an investment plus any accumulated interest, i. Compounding can have a big impact on long-term investment and should be considered a powerful ally when it comes to saving for retirement. It may not seem like much looking at your k in the early days, but compounding can really add up.

Depending on your plan type, there are different ways to keep your retirement plan invested and growing on a tax-deferred basis.

Lindbergh even wrote about Winston in WE , the autobiographical book about his famous flight. Winston later became a master pilot for Pan American World Airways and was one of the first American pilots to make more than a hundred transatlantic flights. The attention sparked an effort to establish a national memorial to the brothers.

Fourteen years later, Congress passed a bill authorizing the Wright memorial. Orville Wright was present at the laying of the cornerstone in , but Lindbergh was not. The young aviator had been invited to attend the ceremony but reportedly declined at the last minute, not wanting to detract any attention from Orville and his accomplishment.

Lindbergh continued to influence aviation throughout his life. In , with his wife, Anne Morrow Lindbergh , serving as copilot and navigator, Lindbergh charted international air routes for new commercial airlines flying across Canada to Asia.

Two years later, the Lindberghs flew 30, miles mapping out commercial routes across the Atlantic. As a civilian adviser in the Pacific theater, Lindbergh actually flew about fifty combat missions. On at least one sortie, he shot down a Japanese plane. Seventy-six years after his famous transatlantic flight, North Carolinians still have reason to remember and to celebrate Lindbergh.

To compound Lindbergh's grief, the ensuing trial of his son's accused killer became a media frenzy. Hauptmann was convicted and later executed in To escape the constant media attention, the couple moved to Europe, living in England and then France.

Around this time, Lindbergh did some scientific research, inventing an early type of artificial heart with a French surgeon. He also continued his work in aviation, serving on the board of directors for Pan-American World Airways and acting as a special advisor at times. Concerned that German air power was unbeatable, Lindbergh became involved with the America First Organization, which advocated that the United States stay neutral in the war in Europe.

His position on the war eroded his public support, and some believed that he had Nazi sympathies. After the attack on Pearl Harbor, however, Lindbergh became active in the war effort, working with Henry Ford on bombers and acting as an advisor and test pilot for United Aircraft.

Lindbergh died of cancer on August 26, , in his remote Maui home. Reports surfaced in that he had three other children with a German woman with whom he reportedly had a long-term affair.

Despite any personal controversies, Lindbergh is credited with helping to usher in the age of commercial aviation. His incredible acts of courage continue to inspire others. Lindbergh cut every bit of weight he could on the plane so it could hold as much fuel as possible. The early morning of May 20, , was dreary in New York, but the weather forecasts for his route over the Atlantic Ocean and his destination to Paris were good enough for Lindbergh.

Even though he had slept little the night before and faced a thirty-three hour trip, Lindbergh decided to make his attempt. Although Lindbergh first experienced good weather, he eventually ran into icing conditions that forced him to consider turning back until he made his way through.

During the trip, he averaged around miles per hour and varied his altitude from just a few feet above the waves in the daytime to over 10, feet at night. He kept the windows open most of the flight to keep from falling asleep. He flew from New York along the coast of Newfoundland and over Ireland to reach his destination.

Looking at a flat map, his route seems to add miles to his journey. Lindbergh landed in Paris at p. A ticker tape parade in New York was attended by an estimated three to four million people. His opinion about staying out of the war was not popular, and many began to wonder if he was actually on the side of the Germans. After the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor, however, Lindbergh changed his mind and joined the war effort. He went to work for Henry Ford as a consultant in the production of B bombers.

He even managed to fly fifty combat missions in the Pacific. Although Lindbergh was never as popular after the war as before he took his stand against it, he continued to have an influence. He advanced commercial aviation as a consultant to Pan American World Airways. He also had a role in developing American military policy toward the Soviets during the Cold War. In Lindbergh published his own story of his transatlantic flight entitled The Spirit of St.

He also became a strong advocate for natural resources conservation. He stayed active in these and other projects until his health rapidly began to fail. Yet, while talk of a TV reboot never goes away, the reception to the idea has been mixed. While it might draw a new generation of viewers to the franchise, many fans of the original series believe the show should be left where it is, and it still remains to be seen if a reboot will ever happen. By Kevin J. Stewart Published Jan 07, Share Share Tweet Email 0. Did Buffy the Vampire Slayer get Cancelled? What happened to Buffy after the show ended?

When did Buffy the Vampire Slayer come to an end? Why was there a season 7 of Buffy? Why did Joss Whedon want Buffy to have a happy ending? Why is Buffy still sleeping in her room? Even though the show was cancelled under strange circumstances, this has not stopped the fans from calling for a return for years now. Popular shows getting cancelled is a rarity, and Angel was a show that suffered a cruel fate. Even though it has been gone for so long, there are still tons of people who would love to see this show make a return.

I love that character. So I will say there may be something coming up. The fact is that Angel still has a huge following, and the studio should strongly consider doing something for the fans. After all, they did yank the show all those years ago. Joss Whedon has gone on to do tremendous things in the entertainment industry, but the way that he got Angel cancelled will always remain a strange tale.

Rowling was huge back in July, when the author was called out for transphobic tweets and eventually, a transphobic manifesto. Just the other week, Disney fired The Mandalorian star Gina Carano after her own string of offensive tweets, and various cast members of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel — most prominently Charisma Carpenter Cordelia — came out and accused creator Joss Whedon of abusive behavior on set, not long after he quietly exited his HBO show The Nevers in what in hindsight seems like a preemptive move to avoid the embarrassment of resigning in disgrace.

Whether cancelling is good or bad depends on the cancellation. I liked Harry Potter but never had loyalty to J. Rowling specifically, so I could look at that one fairly objectively. It was the first show I really fell in love with, so to hear that the man who created what many consider a feminist masterpiece was this cruel towards one of his actresses — mocking her after she got pregnant, giving her an early call time in retaliation even if it went against medial advice, and firing her after she had done her job — hurts.

So what does this mean for my relationship with Joss Whedon and his work? Can I still enjoy it? I still find them funny, I still find them endearing, and I associate them more closely with how I first experienced them than I do with Joss Whedon. When thinking of creators, I always held Joss Whedon in particularly high regard —in addition to Buffy and Angel , he also created Firefly and Dr.

But there are other questions. His work is still available for everyone to enjoy, but what about the work he would have produced had he not been cancelled?

Candle snuffers exist! I am no child expert but I feel like they would still have fun with this. If you want to go the extra mile, cake shields are apparently a thing. More for you. This cake baking cookbook has made pandemic life more enjoyable. Without oxygen, the magnesium cannot burn. However, as soon as the flame is blown out, oxygen can come in contact with the magnesium and the leftover burning ember.

Within a second or two, magnesium dust particles will ignite, causing tiny sparks. Those sparks are hot enough to re-ignite the ribbon of vaporized wax and the candle relights. The tune we sing before blowing out the candles did not start as a birthday song at all. The family of the original author sued those using the modified "Happy Birthday" song and the legal battles went on for decades. Why does a candle go out when you blow on it? What original purpose did birthday parties serve for the birthday boy or girl?

Why are most birthday cakes circles with candles on them? What is the secret ingredient in trick candles? Why is it unlikely that you will get sick after eating a piece of birthday cake? The big one does not have candles on it and involves no blowing. With the person celebrating their birthday having a cake of their own, they can blow all over there was, named was while everyone else digs into their slices.

Paper plate. A method to make sure that the cake is not blown upon is the paper plate method. This is done by inverting a paper plate and carefully pushing through the number of candles required onto the paper plate.

This ensures that the cake is blocked from the blowing process and also prevents the wax from the candles from dripping onto the icing. Although the candles dripping onto the icing may only remove a part of the icing, this is not to be lost out on.

Wave Hands. Another method that has become very common nowadays Is the waving of hands. The birthday boy or girl waves their hand very close to the candles, thus blowing out the candles in the process. Although this could take a little getting used to, it is relatively safer than blowing out the candles from a hygiene perspective. A separate centerpiece other than the cake can be made with household items such as skewers and flowers.

With a neat floral or decorative arrangement and a birthday candle in the middle of this arrangement, the birthday candle may be lit and blown out without any fear of spit or germs going on to the cake. There is also a book from , which describes that candles were placed, lit, on the edges of a cake, surrounding a single candle inserted in the center. For the Swiss in , each candle represented one more year of life. However, these were not to be blown out all at once, but blown out one by one individually, until they were all extinguished.

Nowadays, in many countries like the United Kingdom, Australia, and the United States, it is a tradition to make a wish before blowing out the candles. But for the wish to be granted, the guest must blow them out all at once. The elaboration or format of the cakes may vary according to the region. Thus, in China, they prepare a bun made with flour and wheat that is filled with lotus paste.

In Korea, they replace the cake with seaweed soup.

It eats away, tarnishes, devalues, and prevents you from fulfilling your purpose. Second, we see the effects of the fall in the book of Romans. One realm we see the fall affecting is human kind.

No human is born innocent. Every person is born a sinner. All mankind is effected by the fall. Another area we see the fall effecting is creation. All suffering we see, whether physical sickness or a natural disaster, is directly connected with the fall. We have sickness in the world as a result of sin. Scripture records numerous causes that bring about sickness in both the Old and New Testament. Theologian L. Besides this many ills were ascribed to the direct agency of Satan. However, Scripture very clearly lists these as agents God uses to bring about sickness.

God is judging individuals for their sin by sending physical sickness on their personal bodies. Micah in no uncertain terms says, "So also I will make you sick… because of your sins [emphasis added]. Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. This was the regular practice under the law and should not be seen as normative now. Having said that, we would be foolish to say God would never judge our sin this way today.

Second, sickness as a result of paranormal activity: Satan has tremendous power, and we only have a limited understanding as to the extent of it. Clearly, he has the ability to bring about sickness and affliction because of what we see in the life of Job. According to Job and everything that happened to Job was under the direct influence of Satan. God was in control but allowed Satan to exercise some of his power in an effort to turn Job from God.

Ironically, God proved His point in regard to Job by allowing Satan to try and prove his point. While there is debate over what the thorn actually was, two things are clear: 1 It was a physical affliction in the flesh and 2 It was sent from Satan.

Whether demonic or directly Satanic, it has the ability to bring about sickness. Third, sickness as a result of personal irresponsibility: Man is foolish and irresponsible.

God has called us to be stewards of our energy, resources, and bodies. Most of the sickness we see today comes about from poor health decisions smoking, drinking, bad diet, poor hygiene, etc.

At times the answer to why someone is sick is negligence to his well-being. Fourth, sickness as a result of providential activity: God allows sickness of some forms to come about for His own providential purposes. The man born blind is a good example of this category. Jesus specifically denies that the affliction came because of anyone's sin.

Also, there is no mention of Satanic activity. Individual instructors or editors may still require the use of URLs. Keep me logged in! Divine Healing — Question 16 It is obvious that all people, sooner or later, get sick. Sickness Is Real First, the Bible admits the reality of sickness. Paul wrote about this truth in his letter to the Romans. He explained it in this manner. Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned Romans TNIV Death, therefore, is a consequence of this original sin of the first two human beings.

Our Bodies Are Presently Perishing Consequently, the Scripture emphasizes that our present bodies are corruptible and, thus, subject to sickness and death. So is it with the resurrection of the dead. What is sown is perishable; what is raised is imperishable. It is sown in dishonor it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness; it is raised in power. It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body.

If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body 1 Corinthians ESV. Sickness and death awaits all of us. Sewage Was to Be Kept Separate from the People In a very practical matter, God commanded that the people of the nation of Israel keep their sewage outside of the place where they camped. Designate a place outside the camp where you can go to relieve yourself. As part of your equipment have something to dig with, and when you relieve yourself, dig a hole and cover up your excrement.

Your camp must be holy, so that he will not see among you anything indecent and turn away from you Deuteronomy TNIV. They Were to Wash with Water after Coming into Contact with Things Unclean In the Book of Leviticus, we read what was to take place if a member of the nation came into contact with anything unclean.

Everything the man sits on when riding will be unclean, and whoever touches any of the things that were under him will be unclean till evening; whoever picks up those things must wash their clothes and bathe with water, and they will be unclean till evening. Leviticus , 10 TNIV. When anyone has a defiling skin disease, they must be brought to the priest. The priest is to examine them, and if there is a white swelling in the skin that has turned the hair white and if there is raw flesh in the swelling, it is a chronic skin disease and the priest shall pronounce them unclean.

As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth. Sickness Can Be the Result of Sin While sickness is not sin, it is possible for sickness to be the result of sin. Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, which you have from God, and that you are not your own? Philippians NLT. The vision of the evenings and the mornings that has been told is true. As for you, seal up the vision, for it refers to many days from now. By all this we are encouraged.

In addition to our own encouragement, we were especially delighted to see how happy Titus was, because his spirit has been refreshed by all of you 2 Corinthians NIV. It came about on the seventh day that some of the people went out to gather, but they found none. Sickness Can Result from the Lack of Exercise as Well as Rest This brings us to our next reason as to why people become sick; it is often because there is not the correct amount of exercise as well as rest.

That is why many of you are weak and sick and some have even died 1 Corinthians NLT. Therefore, it is possible that sickness can be a judgment of God. The LORD will send upon you disaster, panic, and frustration in everything you attempt to do, until you are destroyed and perish quickly, on account of the evil of your deeds, because you have forsaken me. The LORD will make the pestilence cling to you until it has consumed you off the land that you are entering to possess.

The LORD will afflict you with consumption, fever, inflammation, with fiery heat and drought, and with blight and mildew; they shall pursue you until you perish Deuteronomy NRSV. Moses further explained what would take place. The LORD will afflict you with the boils of Egypt and with tumors, festering sores and the itch, from which you cannot be cured The LORD will afflict your knees and legs with painful boils that cannot be cured, spreading from the soles of your feet to the top of your head Deuteronomy , 35 NIV.

Again, they were warned that the Lord would judge them through these diseases. These warnings were again restated. He will bring back upon you all the diseases of Egypt, of which you were in dread, and they shall cling to you.

And when the cloud departed from above the tabernacle, suddenly Miriam became leprous, as white as snow. This episode shows us that God, at times, will judge His own people with sickness. The Servant of Elisha Was Struck with Leprosy for Disobedience In another episode, Gehazi, the servant of the prophet Elisha, was struck down with leprosy for his disobedience to the command of the prophet as well as lying to him.

Therefore the leprosy of Naaman shall cling to you, and to your descendants forever. Again, we find that leprosy was used as a tool of judgment. Then immediately an angel of the Lord struck him, because he did not give glory to God. The psalmist also wrote about the benefits of suffering. And there was a woman who had had a spirit of infirmity for eighteen years; she was bent over and could not fully straighten herself. Does not each of you on the sabbath untie his ox or his ass from the manger, and lead it away to water it?

And ought not this woman, a daughter of Abraham whom Satan bound for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?

The former Miss World, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is one celeb who naturally has the eye colour that millions of people crave for. Even the powerhouse of acting, Rani Mukerji has naturally coloured eyes that has always caught the attention of many of the people. Her hazel colour eyes are loved by many. By Ben Arogundade. Many fans online assume that film celebrity's real eye color is brown, and that she wears colored contact lenses to turn brown eyes to green or blue.

In fact, her eyes are a natural sea green - rare amongst South Asians. Most of these online fans are located in India, and the searches originate predominantly from the explosion of smartphones rather than laptops of desktop computers that is sweeping the country. It is a new phenomenon that a movie star from outside Britain or the US could reach such heights of global popularity.

But the key question is, what is Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's real eye colour? Are they blue, green or brown? In fact, the former Miss World and 'Vogue India' cover star's eyes are naturally green.

Anonymous : She looks like her family here. Her biological daughter is not cute at all and has brown eyes and brown skin. It has always been a mystery how she magically turned out to be fair skinned and green eyed. Now these pictures have shown her real face. Anonymous : Whoever released these pictures should have shown these about 20 years ago when Aishwarya was lying left and right to convince the world that her eyes are green blue and her skin is fair.

Anonymous : The question about the real color of her eyes and her real skin color has been answered. She's fake. Anonymous : How did she change so much?

Did she get plastic surgery on her entire face? Anonymous : Her fans say that she is famous for her European looks, exotic beauty, and perfect face. Hahahahaha omg just look at her in this picture. She looks so ordinary Anonymous : This woman is known as the most beautiful woman in the world loll.

Anonymous : In addition to changing her skin and eye color, she also changed her face shape, chin, cheeks. Does anyone have any information about her plastic surgeon? Anonymous : Aishwarya is a unique woman. Typically eye color and skin color darkens with age. But in Aishwarya's case, her skin color and eye color have been getting lighter and lighter every day. Anonymous : Where are Fakewarya fans now?

Are they hiding their faces in shame? Anonymous : If this below average girl can become the most beautiful woman in the world then there is hope for everyone. Anonymous : This picture is a proof that she is plastic and fake. Look at her real self: brown skin and brown eyes. Anonymous : Yes, why not hate a woman's childhood. Idiots in comments. This country is going to dogs. Anonymous : India is already in the dogs! It's and it's still a third world country! Anonymous : Must be hard to see your Queen's real face, features, skin color, eye color.

Everything about her is a lie. You are frustrated but that doesn't mean you take it out by abusing your fellow countrymen. Anonymous : Why are there suddenly posts of Ash every day?? She believes we've forgotten her, needs the publicity? Go do your self a favor Ash, focus on learning to let your daughter walk on her own, stop the hand holding And get yourself in the gym, tone up those arms!

Anonymous : Can u spot taapsee pannu in this pic. Anonymous : The birthday girl one wearing a jumper looks far prettier than Fakewarya. Anonymous : I can't see her blue eyes Oh wait she never had blue eyes just brown eyes like everyone else.

Anonymous : She has cleverly managed to not show any pictures from her childhood, teenage, adolescence. Now it makes sense why. There is a picture in which she is sitting on a bed with her parents and her eyes are brown and skin dark just like in this picture.

Anonymous : yeah cz everyone has bad days in their lives. Anonymous : she looks weird with a protruding chin. Pls post. Anonymous : She is a wrong woman who was the worst thing that happened to Salman, Vivek, and Abhishek. There is something weird about her and the way she treats people who support her.

Anonymous : She was the wrong woman who is nothing but trouble. Salman should have been careful and Vivek should have been careful too. But she is too cunning and manipulative and knows how to fool men and those poor men are still paying the price for trusting this snake.

Anonymous : Oh really? Everyone knows that she served him for 4 years right after she served Subhash Ghai and then jumped onto Vivek Oberoi and later Abhishek Bachchan.

Anonymous : Aishwarya fans are weird. On one hand they say that Aishwarya dumped Salman on his face and on the other hand they say that their Aishwarya silently tolerated his alleged abuse for years. Aish fans must be so confused because their goddess keeps on spewing a new lie everyday. Must be hard to keep track of so many lies.

Anonymous : Aishwarya has a habit of using men and then moving onto the next big fish. She cheated on Salman with Vivek because Vivek was the rising star at that time. Unfortunately Vivek proved too weak of an opponent against Salman and she had to sell herself to Amitabh because Amitabh was the strongest person in the industry who could protect her from everyone.

She was successful in fooling stupid Abhishek to marry her and secured her future by adding Bachchan to her surname. Had she not been successful in becoming a Bachchan Bahu, she would have crawled back to Salman like Katrina did. Anonymous : Aishwarya is a flop and is desperate to get movies again. She said two years ago that she is ready to work with Salman. How shameless can someone be but then again she is Aishwarya Rai who is a user abuser and can go to any length to achieve something.

Katrina couldn't become Katrina Kaif Kapoor so she had to come back. Aishwarya trapped Amitabh and used him to secure her future.

Over 2 million developers have joined DZone. When to Use Abstract Class and Interface. Abstract class in Java is similar to interface except that it can contain default method implementation. An abstract class can have an abstract method without body and it can have methods with implementation also. An abstract class is mostly used to provide a base for subclasses to extend and implement the abstract methods and override or use the implemented methods in abstract class.

Notice that work is an abstract method and it has no-body. Here is a concrete class example extending an abstract class in java. Note that subclass Employee inherits the properties and methods of superclass Person using inheritance in java. Also notice the use of Override annotation in Employee class. Read more for why we should always use Override annotation when overriding a method. If I missed anything important, please let us know through comments. A concrete example of an abstract class would be a class called Animal.

You see many animals in real life, but there are only kinds of animals. Since Is Dead is abstract, each animal must implement it…. By using the static keyword we can access the concrete methods in the abstract class. Can any one tell without using the static how can we access the concrete methods in the abstract class?

Java Abstract class is used to provide common method implementation to all the subclasses or to provide default implementation. The subclass of abstract class in java must implement all the abstract methods unless the subclass is also an abstract class.

If Class3 extends abstract Class2 and abstract Class2 extends abstract Class1, then Class3 should implement all the abstract methods of Class1 and Class2. Class 2 need not implement methods of Class1 since Class2 is also abstract. It was a wonderful recap of what i learned java docs from various resources in internet. Thanks for covering entire picture of core java. God bless you!! While doing some editing, I mistakenly deleted changeName method from Person class, I have corrected it. I want to know the sole purpose of Abstract Class other than its providing Data hiding and forces the programmer to implement all the methods in Abstract class.

However with Java 8 default methods in interfaces, Interface and Abstract class are almost same. I feel like the Person, Employee relationship is better represented by an interface rather than an abstract class because a Person can be an Employee but it is not a necessity. A person can be more than one thing therefore A Person should implement an interface called Employee because they can also be something else like a manager or a supervisor.

So Person has to be superclass. With Java 8 interface default and static methods, there is not much difference between abstract class and interface. What is changeName? Now suppose you have 3 databases in your application. Then each and every implementation for that database needs to define the above 2 methods:. Then the above would not be a good approach.

Now in each child class, we only need to implement one method — the method that is database dependent. Tried my best to make you understand. Hi Pankaj, Can u please tell me where we can use interfaces and abstract classes in realtime, could you please give me in realtime example. Abstract Classes cannot be instantiated.

Let us say we have got an abstract class absClass with one unimplemented abstract method doSayHello. When we implement doSayHello method in the curly brackets, we are doing it under the pretence that we are extending an unnamed class but not by instantiating the abstract class itself. Abstract class can contain Constructor, if we cannot create an instance what is the use of this constructor. Note: Abstraction can also be achieved with Interfaces , which you will learn more about in the next chapter.

To achieve security - hide certain details and only show the important details of an object. Report Error. Interfaces can also be used for the dependency injection that makes it easier to mock the derived classes when testing.

Developed in partnership with renowned Spanish design firm LIVIT, the design features decorative lighting, a large marble island bar, steel gantry, chevron flooring, exposed brickwork, smoked mirrors and a mixture of plush dining booths, timber high bars, New York-inspired artwork, outdoor spaces and an open kitchen. This direction for the American casual dining chain started in April At present, five of their stores are now showcasing the new concept, including their recently-launched flagship outlet at Chadstone Shopping Centre in Melbourne.

TGI Fridays says they are aligning with the "growth of quality entertainment and dining precincts within shopping centres" which they say are the "new suburban hub" for communities. Aside from the confirmed roll out this year, TGI Fridays says the will also feature fresh seasonal menus and a new cocktail range.

The casual dining chain's Australian restaurants have been under the ownership of the Signature Hospitality Group for nearly two years since buying it from the Imperium Group. It is the first fast food restaurant chain in both Australia and New Zealand to sign the global pledge. The item will be available for a week from November 9. Founded by perfume salesman Alan Stillman, the world-famous chain started life as a bar where women could relax and feel comfortable ordering a drink.

The first outlet was sited opposite the PanAm building in New York with an almost guaranteed clientele and introduced lighter cocktails such as Long Island Tea and the concept of a happy hour. The challenge is to maintain the fun culture associated with the brand, but to lift the standards of food and fitout.

The food has been created by the corporate chef Kevin Miller in New York, who has designed the menu to be a modern take on classic favourite dishes. Buffalo wings for instance are slow cooked in garlic and chilli. One significant change is the reduction of menu items from an overwhelming 78 to a more manageable There will be more share plates and on-trend cocktails, and TGIs is providing unique flavours and creating its own sauces.

The contemporary decor will be retro fitted across the existing 11 outlets in Australia and expansion into new areas is focused on dining precincts such as Stockland Green Hills, the venue for the launch restaurant. Experience in franchising is a bonus in this relationship, he suggests.

It only helps us. It means the Australian franchisor understands the importance of protecting the global brand, and TGIs ambition for growth. The chain is franchised in each country to restaurant or national business operators, but not sub-franchised.
