The Lempo and Japwow Project consists of two producers who have come together over their love of house music. Having their first track signed to major label Cr2 records and due out in the next few months " The Lempo and Japwow Project " is bringing house music with a twist to your ears.

Their second track is a jacking house influenced dutch style track. Mixing up big room dutch house synths with crazy jacked up house beats. Gaining support already from major dj's and gathering the attention of big labels from their start this project is set to explode into Stay locked! Our 10th Penned Madness Session on Digitally Imported was yesterday and we were thankful enough to have a murderous mix from fellow blogger and Chi-Town resident Dani Deahl.

We have been following Ms. Deahl's work since we started PM and are happy to be able to show her some much deserved love.

Dani's latest mix is a collection of tunes that folks have sent to her over the past few months, in which she has then blogged about. We have included some of the tracks below to ensnare you travelers from hype machine and any other tracks that may tickle your fancy can be found throughout DSQUARED. Nick Thayer: Ten Acre Dust 3. This is an absolute dubstep anthem and has done its fair share of destruction worldwide. For reals. Received some of the happiest news in my young life today One of my favorite bands has decided to do a few reunion shows, hopefully to test the waters on joining back up and making music good again. I really am not a good enough writer to describe how much this band has meant to me during my formative and un-formative years, but to have the chance to see them back together again on stage is something I cannot pass up.

D-Plan Forever! So the good folks over at Pioneer are having a competition at letsmix. Naturally when I found out about this I figured that it couldn't hurt to enter the competition. Viewing all articles. First Page Page 9 Page 10 Page 11 Page 12 Page Last Page.

TV he briefly told something about this guy. I searched some extra information, but that's pretty hard to find. I am posting the man's myspace because I haven't found any tracks from The Mould. Make sure you check this out, heavy, heavy Proxy-sounding shit! I guess we will hear more from this guy in the near future! Geplaatst door TGM op 1 reacties. Sunday, 22 November Bangin' Bangkok. Man, what a beautiful track is this! German producer Boris Dlugosch made this track Bangkok, and I'm surely not the only one who's loving it!

Annie Mac from Bbc radio 1 gave this track some airplay during her show, and big guns like Boys Noize and Erol Alkan played this track a few times. The female oh's in this song give it a sexy touch, which makes it even better. Nuff said! Boris Dlugosch - Bangkok original mix Next up: Mechanical resistance, a producer and dj duo from toulouse in France. They play two times a week at the French internet-radio "paris one club", monday between 3 and 4 pm, and thursday between 9 and 10 am.

What's even more important for us, they made some bangin' electro tracks! Mechanical Resistance - dancing fat Mechanical Resistance - stratchy brain Crimewave - cauchemar mechanical resistance remix. Labels: boris dlugosch , cauchemar , mechanical resistance. Saturday, 21 November The masters of Fidget! And like that, they were first discovered by a Belgian radio station called Studio Brussel.

Stijn Maris, one of the presenters of Studio Brussel still is their manager. In november of they released their first EP - Zoopah Dupah - which included Supah Dupah, a track that changed the whole fidget scene all over the world! This one is played over times each weekend in Belgium alone. No wonder Dr. Lektroluv was interested for releasing this track on his label. Hmm, Here We Go Again, bla bla bla! Do you remember March 2, ? Yes, indeed! That was a monday.

Like I care? But that stupid monday was the day they released their second EP called Heads Up! Sound of Stereo also made a lot of remixes. But it's like 3am, I'm tired and my inspiration is gone, so just start downloading and get ready to blow up your speakers!

DJ Manaia ft. If you want more of their remixes, just google it yourself! Next year they'll also release a full album. I don't know the tracklist, and I even don't know if these tracks'll be on the album. But here are some previews of new tracks coming out soon. This track is coming out in February Geplaatst door Humpty Dumpty op 0 reacties.

Labels: 2Fabiola , Arsenal , dj manaia , Dr. Lektroluv , sound of stereo , The Bloody Beetroots. You all know these stupid hardcore remixes for rock songs like "Nothing Else Matters" Metallica , now someone took revenge! The creepy atmosphere stays, but now the pounding basses are replaced by typical dubstep sounds. The video that is made for it, in which the maker used some parts of the classic horror movie "Poltergeist", is definitely worth a look.

Sharkslayer and Harvard bass at their best! Laughed my ass of with this one! No relation with music or something, just a very stupid dog. Labels: dj paul elstak , drop the lime , harvard bass , neophyte , sharkslayer , steed lord , The stint. Wednesday, 18 November Don't throw the trash away. Their remix for cheeks' "s'tisfaction" starts like a popsong, and so does the original.

I wish I could be at Coachella this weekend to see them. I woudl be crying tears of joy. Watching his A State of Trance set was so much fun, such a good set. His mainstage set was fun too, but I don't think it was as good.

M is probably my favorite track off of Songs. I like OMG better as an album, but it's always nice to hear new Rusko. Shit, clearly I couldn't get this stirring again. LFF: I know you've been into the real melodic shit I think you called it lovestep , and I've been big into lately. Stoked for this one. I chilled with these guys at their show in Orlando a few days ago and they really are awesome people trying to make it in the music world.

Check it out, share if you like it, these guys deserve so much more credit than they get. While I do like some songs people have shown me, I really want to sink my teeth into an artist and get what they do musically so yeah, what do you guys recommend? I don't know too many other albums. As far as artists goes, it really depends on what kind of dubstep you like since it varies so much, some of my favorites are: Funtcase, Genetix, Mantis, Cyberoptics, Datsik, Bassnectar, Kill the Noise, Captain Panic!

Once you find an artist who's style you like, find a mix by them cause they'll typically play songs of the same style and you can find out of a bunch of new artists and music that way. Once you find an artist who's style you like, find a mix by them cause they'll typically play songs of the same style and you can find out of a bunch of new artists and music that way ok man, thanks alot.

Not at all true, many many classic dubstep albums out there. I'd recommend the Dubstep Allstars series, definitive mixes showcasing the true sound of dubstep since it's inception.

There's a list of albums in the thread worth getting, cba to find it though. I've only noticed mainly the big name artists are the ones making full length albums. Ynot, Soundcloud is great to get into new artists. If we're posting 'live' shit, here's some Excision from a show that I went to.

I think his setup is pretty nuts. Funtcase has so many good tracks that need releasing. Funtcase is a fucking badman. Been waiting on squid attack remix for a while. Picture of Bassnectar show last night. I didn't make it out because I'm up at school, but bros on bros on bros.

That's the National in Richmond, VA. I just looked up pics of Paramount and they do look really similar haha. Here's the pic from the other night when he was in my hometown, Norfolk, VA. It's a small venue so I bet the show was dope. I'm tying to see Flux and Cookie Monsta there in May. So much neon clothing hahaha. Seen flux and cookie a few times, flux is pretty good but cookie monsta will blow your mind. Cookie plays a super grimy set, I feel like flux would be good to see, but when it comes to live shows, i prefer the style of music that cookie has in comparison.

There's so many artists rolling through my area. That's a small venue? I saw Atlas Sound at the national last year, nice ass acoustics, kinda weird to see it that packed actually. Do you live in Virginia? I've never been to The National, but I've been to The Norva a few times, and they're owned by the same company at least they were at some point0, so I'd assume they are pretty damn similar. Line up for the festival Im going to this weekend.

Should be a good show! Hell yeah, Ive only heard a little bit of his stuff. If youd send me a few of his good songs Id appreciate it man. Fuck man, good shit. I've been seeing shit for that all overt my Facebook. Adrian Lux is so good, I'd love to see him. So is Madeon, I'll be seeing him in July. Pretty solid lineup right there. Thanks man, Ill check them out.

The show starts in a few hours and I'm stoked. I'll let you know how epic Madeon's show is. Concert Review: Overall: The festival ended up being a lot more fun then I figured it was going to be. They gave Skrillex wayy to much time at the end in my opinion. Best artist: Crystal Method really killed it and I liked a dj called Jaguar skills who had some sweet remixes.

He had some pyrotechnics and a good laser show. I think Crystal Method coulda killed it way harder then him if they gave them all the stage like that. I missed A-Track and was kinda bummed but whatever. I was pretty far away from the stage smoking and stuff when Madeon played so I couldn't hear the set very well. The songs I listened to I liked a lot; I'd suggest going to see that concert. Bangarang is mainstream but I love it. The only dubstep in my mind that has any sort of artistic merit is Burial, he is incredible.

Lamest thing ever. And bangarang isn't even dubstep. Why are you dissing all of my opinions today? You disagree I get it. It definitely is dubstep though. Isn't it that shitty new brostep sub genre?

Just the thought of liking something despite it being mainstream is lame to me. Now that I'm here give me some burial-esque things to check out for posi.

I haven't really dug much past him. Eh haven't really got anything else past Burial, he is pretty original in his dark sounds and samples and i'm not big into this sort of stuff. Thanks man I like Bonobo and Zomby and I'll check out the rest.
